Some notable places include Center Point United Methodist Church, and a few bodies of water that lie around the town. There is an especially large body of water by North Sugar Ridge.

The racial makeup of the town was 98.3% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.4% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], and 1.2% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]].

There were 104 households, of which 28.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.0% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 7.7% had a female householder with no husband present, 2.9% had a male householder with no wife present, and 38.5% were non-families. 32.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. There were 102 households, out of which 47.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.8% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 13.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.5% were non-families. 21.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.86 and the average family size was 3.24.
