Masterson played Geoff in the direct-to-video movie ''[[Dragonheart: A New Beginning]]'' (2000), the sequel to ''[[Dragonheart]]''. He took on the role for seven seasons, from 2000 to 2006. In 2003, he played Edward Linton in MTV's ''[[Wuthering Heights (2003 film)|Wuthering Heights]]''. Masterson portrayed a lead character in the films ''[[Waterborne (film)|Waterborne]]'', ''[[Made for Each Other (2009 film)|Made for Each Other]]'' and ''[[Intellectual Property (film)|Intellectual Property]]''.
