PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 13, 2017) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sampson (DDG 102) pulls alongside the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) for a fueling-at-sea. Theodore Roosevelt is underway for a scheduled deployment to the U.S. 7th and 5th Fleet areas of responsibility in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
