| Description |
English: The National Air Tour for the Edsel B. Ford Reliability Trophy starts off with fourteen airplanes competing for a trophy offered by Edsel B. Ford. The airplanes will visit 25 cities and cover over 4,200 miles. Thousands, among them Henry Ford and his son Edsel, witnessed the start of the tour. A Stinson Detroiter is in the foreground.
