English: Regimental flag used by the 3rd Oregon Infantry Regiment from 1916-1919. The field contains the colors purple and gold with the state's seal in the center. It was given to the regiment by the people of Portland.

1st hospital flag

In May of 1917 the regiment was given 2 flag for the hospital detachment. One was and a American flag the other was a hospital flag described as: "...big white banner, with its red cross center..."

The regiment was given a flag on June 3, 1917 by William Riedt.

The regiment was given a flag on June 5, 1917 but the design was not described.

According to the Morning Oregonian the regiment carried the Stars and Stripes and a regimental flag, on June 15 of 1917.

In July of 1917 Company A was given a silk banner by the citizens of McMinnville. Also a large flag was given to the Machine Gun Company.

Nina's flag

In July of 1917 2 hospital flags are given to the regiment. One by a man named Harry White of McMinnville. The second flag was made by Mrs. Nina of Portland. Nina's flag was described as: "The flag...All the stars and stripes are sewed on the red field..."

In September of 1917 another hospital flag is given to the regiment by Mrs. Logus.
