English: Aerial view of Harbor Island in Seattle, looking northwest over Puget Sound. The large bridge crossing the southern tip of the island is the West Seattle Bridge. Behind the bridge is the western portion of Seattle's Industrial District, and behind that is Admiral district of West Seattle. A number of large orange docking cranes are visible on the eastern edge of Harbor Island. Though there is some disagreement about where the "Point" in Alki Point is, the venerable Alki Point Light is near the top of this photo, just below a narrow portion of Puget Sound. |
