Summary

Description
English: "Agesilaus in Egypt - The Spartan king Agesilaus, with a force of a thousand heavy-armed Spartan infantry and about ten thousand mercenaries, crossed the seas to assist Tachos, the Egyptian king, who had rebelled against the Persian dominion. The Egyptians were disposed to scoff this little lame old man, without any royal retinue or magnificence, but he soon convinced them of his importance, as he placed a fresh king upon the Egyptian throne before he left the country."
