Español: La obra muestra al rey Amadeo I de España contemplando el cadáver del general Juan Prim, que fue tiroteado en 1870 en la calle del Turco de Madrid y resultó muerto tras el atentado. Cromolitografía de Manuel Giménez en el Museo de Historia de Madrid. El lienzo original, que perteneció a la colección de los duques de Aosta, se encuentra en paradero desconocido.
Français : L'œuvre représente le roi Amadeo Ier d'Espagne contemplant le cadavre du général Juan Prim, abattu en 1870 dans la Calle del Turco à Madrid et tué lors de l'attentat. Chromolithographie de Manuel Giménez conservée au Musée d'histoire de Madrid. La toile originale, qui appartenait à la collection du duc et de la duchesse d'Aoste, n'a toujours pas été retrouvée.
English: The work shows King Amadeo I of Spain contemplating the corpse of General Juan Prim, who was shot in 1870 in Calle del Turco in Madrid and was killed in the attack. Chromolithograph by Manuel Giménez in the Madrid History Museum. The original canvas, which belonged to the collection of the Duke and Duchess of Aosta, is still missing.
