Description
English: An illustration of Ambonese couple, from "Reise nach Batavia", an illustrated travel diary by the Alsatian world traveler Georg Franz Müller, describing his voyage to South Africa and Indonesia and his stay there (1669-1682) in services of the Dutch East India Company. In the travel book, he illustrated people, animals and plants that he encountered during his journey and also composed simple verses about them.
