Description: A chunk of serpentine marble with an area of hard, apple green bowenite. From seller: "The Bowenite is from an old quarry/prospect near Thurman, New York. I have never seen an actual name for the locality, the Army Corps of Engineers looked there for asbestos around WWII, it is present in small quantities. The small pit was filled in with logging debris in the early '70's. I had to dig deep in tailings to get good material."
