English: An exterior view of the Beaver Lake Sports and Cultural Club in the community of Beaver Lake, in the area and former township of Walden, now a part of the city of Greater Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Located on the site of a former gymnasium and youth athletics complex operated by the Finnish-Canadian Amateur Sports Federation for much of the 20th century, the club features a community hall and indoor stage on the upper floor, additional community space on the lower floor, and an outdoor balcony area, as well as a small community post office (the Worthington Post Office) located on the upper level of the building. Visibly mounted from the building are Finnish and Canadian flags. |
