English: Buan Celadon Museum at the Site of Kilns in Yucheon-ri
The Buan Celadon Museum provides visitors with a chance to get a glimpse of what was involved in producing the high grade porcelain items the Goryeo royal household required. The Buan area had natural and geographical conditions suitable to the manufacturing of ceramics. Celadon began to be made in Buan around the second half of the 11th century to the first half of the 12th century. The Site of Kilns in Yucheon-ri of Buan is Historic Site # 69. |
