English: Bucknell’s House 79 The Grove, Ealing, London, W5 5LL was used by home improvement host Barry Bucknell for a 39-part weekly peak-time BBC Television programmes to show Britain’s army of do-it-yourself viewers how to modernise their homes. At the end of the final series 40,000 people visited the house to see for themselves what had been done. For many years the front of the building was obscured by two large trees. These were cut back on 16 August 2022 to reveal this view. |
