For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Bergmann mit Spitzhacke
Zentralbild-Lücke 15.10.1952 Aktivisten vom 13.Oktober 1952 und ihre Arbeit. UBz: Der Tiefbauhäuer Florian Schott vom Braunkohlewerk Borna VEB wurde als Aktivist ausgezeichnet; Er sagte: "Ich bin ein Bergmann wie viele andere; ich weiß, dass jede Tonne Kohle unseren Aufbau weiter vorantreibt. Kraft auf's neue gibt mir aber immer wieder die Gewißheit, dass ich für die Allgemeinheit arbeite undnicht in die Tasche eines Ausbeuters, so wie es früher der Fall war. Gerade die großzügige Unterstützung, die unsere Regierung uns Bergarbeitern gewährt, zeigt, welchen verantwortungsvollen Platz wir als Bergarbeiter in unserer Republik einnehmen. Für und bedeutet es Verpflichtung, noch mehr als bisher von dem schwarzen Gold der Erde zu fördern, damit unsere Schornsteine rauchen und der friedliche Aufbau gedeihen kann. |
