For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ADN-Hubert Link-2.10.90 Berlin: Volkskammer-Tagung. Mit einer Sitzung der Volkskammer wurden am späten Dienstagnachmittag die letzten Stunden der DDR eingeläutet. Dr. Sabine Bergmann-Pohl, Präsidentin des Parlamentes, stellte fest, daß die Volkskammer nun ihren Auftrag erfüllt habe, der ihr vor sieben Monaten von Wählern gegeben wurde. das erste freigewählte DDR-Parlament brachte es immerhin auf 164 Gesetze und 93 Beschlüsse, eine quantitative Bilanz, für die viele andere Parlamente Jahre brauchen. |
