English: A PRU station is a CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) pressure reducing unit, an abbreviation for Pressure Reducing Unit. This station reduces the pressure of natural gas (NG). The NG is compressed at a high pressure of 220 – 250 bar to facilitate its transportation to factories located far from the Gas Distribution Center (GDC).
