Author Original creator was Tran Van Hoc (?-?), a early 19th century Vietnamese architect. This map later was collected by Petrus Ky (1837-1898) in his book (as described in the book Ký ức lịch sử về Sài gòn và các vùng phụ cận, Vietnam: Trẻ Publishing House ,TP.HCM, 1997.) Vietnamese translation was done by historian Nguyen Dinh Dau
