English: Estonian Swedes fleeing Soviet occupation of Estonia for Sweden.
Svenska: Estlandssvenskar flyr till Sverige undan den sovjetiska ockupationen av Estland.
Русский: Бегство эстонцев в Швецию от мобилизации в германскую армию или от наступления Красной армии, 1943 или 1944 год. Так называемый «Великий исход» — массовое бегство жителей из оккупированной немцами Эстонии в Швецию и Германию в связи с наступлением Красной армии в конце лета и осенью 1944 года. Бегство в основном осуществлялось по морю на кораблях, небольших моторных рыболовецких судах и лодках. В общей сложности, из Эстонии бежало 70000—80000 эстонцев (6,2—7,1 % от численности населения страны на 1940 год), из которых 6—9 % погибли в пути. Около 40000 человек бежали в Германию, примерно 27 000 человек смогли бежать через Балтийское море в Швецию. В 1943 году около 2000 мужчин-эстонцев бежали в Швецию от мобилизации в германскую армию.
