- Because the LOC information on this collection indicates there may be some restrictions, depending on where the photo originated, a renewal search was done. The LOC online data says the photo was taken by Acme newsphotos and not the World-Telegram/Sun.
- A search for renewal was done in artwork for the years 1966 and 1967 . There were no listings for Acme Newsphotos or its successor company, United Press International.
- There's no evidence of continuing copyright for the photo.
- Note that the copy uploaded is a large copy of the same image which is displayed at LOC as a small photo only.
