English: The church of Funningur (Eysturoy, Faroe Islands) is one of the 10 remaining old wooden churches in the Faroe Islands. It was inaugurated on 30 November 1847. The mountain behind the church, on the other side of the Funningsfjørður, is Dalkinsfjall (719 m).
Nederlands: Het kerkje van Funningur (Eysturoy, Faeröer) is van de 10 overgebleven oude houten kerkjes op de Faeröer. Deze kerk werd gewijd op 30 november 1847. De berg achter de kerk, aan de overkant van de Funningsfjørður, is Dalkinsfjall (719 m). |
