English: The flag of the Federation of Central America as described in the Constitution published on 9 September 1921.
Article 180: The Coat of Arms of the Federation of Central America shall be an equilateral triangle: at its base shall appear the mountain range of five volcanoes placed on a terrain bathed by both seas; at the top, a rainbow covering them; and beneath the arch, the rising sun of liberty, scattering rays of light. Around the triangle, and in a circular shape, the following shall be written in gold letters: "Republic of Central America"; and at the base of the triangle, also in gold letters, the words: "God, Union, Liberty." Article 182: The National Flag shall consist of three horizontal bands: the upper and lower bands blue and the central band white, on which shall be drawn the Coat of Arms referred to in Article 180.
