  • A search for original registration was done in artwork for the years 1938 and 1939. There were no registrations for the name Acme; renewals for periodicals were also checked for the years 1965 and 1966. There were no renewals for the Rochester, New York newspaper Democrat and Chronicle; there's no evidence of original copyright for this photo.
