Terry Fox is universally considered to be a Canadian hero for his efforts to increase cancer awareness and cancer research. Tery Fox ran 5,373 kilometres (3,339 miles) from St. Johns, Newfoundland to just outside Thunder Bay, Ontario during his 1980 Marathon of Hope before he had to stop because cancer had reappeared in his lungs.[1] This photo was personally taken in 2014 by Geoffery Kehrig |
