English: Looking west from Gulfport, Mississippi port facility, 2 weeks after Hurricane Katrina. Marine Life Oceanarium (left), Copa Casino (center), and Gulfport Grand Casino parking garage and hotels (center background). The Copa Casino was a floating barge that washed ashore during the storm and was demolished. Marine Life Oceanarium was destroyed by the storm and was not rebuilt. The Grand Casino was sold and became the Island View Casino. |
