Summary
DescriptionIce Hockey Neutral Zone Trap.gif
English: An animated diagram of the Neutral Zone Trap defensive strategy in ice hockey. The defensive team (red uniforms, top of image) starts by applying pressure to force the puckhandler to one side of the rink as the offensive team (blue uniforms, bottom of image) reaches the neutral zone. The defensive team then overpowers the puckhandler in the neutral zone, causing him to either dump the puck or cause a turnover.
