Summary

Description Photo of Joel McCrea as ranger Jayce Pearson and horse, Charcoal, publicity still for the radio version of the program Tales of the Texas Rangers. McCrea played the role on radio only; the role of Pearson on television went to Willard Parker. McCrea is in costume from the 1950 film "The Outriders", which had been released just before the radio series began.
