Summary
| Description |
Deutsch: Innenansicht in Richtung Altar der Klosterkirche der Barmherzigen Brüder im 2. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Leopoldstadt. Die Kirche in ihrer gegenwärtigen Form wurde von 1683 bis 1692 erbaut. 1733/1734 wurde der Chor erweitert und der Turm durch Franz Anton Pilgram neu errichtet. Die Stuckarbeiten stammen von Santino Bussi. Der Hochaltar ist ein Werk aus den Jahren 1735/1736, wobei das Ölgemälde mit dem Thema "Taufe Christi" von Daniel Gran gemalt wurde und die vier seitlichen Marmorstatuen (heiliger Joachim, heiliger Zacharias, heilige Elisabeth, heilige Anna) von Lorenzo Mattielli stammen. |
