Summary

Description The U.S. Coast Guard's last Boeing PB-1G Fortress (s/n 77254, ex-USAAF 44-85828) alongside the first Lockheed HC-130B Hercules (s/n 1339, USAF s/n 58-5396) at the Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City, North Carolina (USA). The PB-1G 77254 was the last B-17 in U.S. military service (other than target drones and directors) flying its last mission on 14 October 1959.
