Elle est devenue l’emblème de la cité et se dresse à l'intersection de la rue Charles-de-Gaulle et de la rue de la Xavée.
English: The statue of the Volunteer 1792 is a statue created in 1899 by the sculptor Paul- Francois Choppin to honor citizenship of the inhabitants of the district of Remiremont who sent the first volunteers to defend the country in danger (1792).
She became the emblem of the city and stands at the intersection of Charles de Gaulle street and street of Xavée.
