Description
English: Phil Hogan, Member of the EC in charge of Agriculture and Rural Development, travelled to Edinburgh to participate in a presidential seminar on the problems of communication in rural areas, organised as part of the "Royal Highland Show" agriculture fair. With over 1000 exhibitors, the Royal Highland Show is Scotland's annual farming and rural life event. During the fair, Phil Hogan met with David Mundell, British Secretary of State for Scotland and President of Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland, and Michael Forsyth, Member of the House of Lords.
