This media file has been nominated for deletion since 23 November 2025. To discuss it, please visit the nomination page.
Do not remove this tag until the deletion nomination is closed. Reason for the nomination: I don't have direct evidence to say that isn't the FAA's work, however there is considerable doubt that it is theirs. This file comes from the FAA's entry on this accident. Two files that were taken from the website (File:Luxair flight 9642 crashsite.jpg; File:Luxair flight 9642 crashsite 2.jpg) were proven to be copyright violations. The FAA did not credit the original author of the two aforementioned files and also did not provide one for the file being nominated for deletion. Adding to that, given that there are also similar images resembling the one being nominated (see: Bridgeman Images; German Press Agency via Handelsblatt; German Press Agency via Volksfreund), this should probably be deleted under COM:PCP since "there is significant doubt about the freedom of [this file]".
