English: Former PM Malaysia Dr Mahathir & Siti Hasmah Celebrate 64th Anniversary
Former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dr. Mahathir Mohamad and his wife Siti Hasmah are celebrating 64 years of married bliss today on August 5th, 2020.
Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad (95) and Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali (94) have been married for 64 years as of today and have 5 children together: Mukhriz, Marina, Mazhar, Mokhzani, and Maizura. Dr. Mahathir is a Malaysian politician who has served as the 4th and 7th Prime Minister of his country from July 1981 to October 2003, and then from May 2018 to March 2020. His wife, Siti Hasmah is the Chancellor of the Multimedia University.
This year, when the political couple celebrated their 64th anniversary, the former PM posted pictures of the two of them together, with the pictures captioned,
“I am shy of showing public affection. But we have been married 64 years. I think it is worth celebrating our tolerance for each other and other feelings.” ChedetOfficial/Twitter
