English: A map of the traditional Karelian regions. Note that Ingria is not considered part of Karelia.
Svenska: North Karelia - Norra Karelen (i Finland); South Karelia - Södra Karelen (i Finland); Ladoga Karelia - Ladoga Karelen (avträddes av Finland till Ryssland under andra världskriget); Karelian Isthmus - Karelska näset (avträddes av Finland till Ryssland under andra världskriget). Resterande är det traditionellt ryska Karelen. Ingria - Ingermanland, är ingen del av Karelen.
