So, the media are certainly not suitable for Commons, and doubly or even triply so: we don't have any OK by the author to host them (to reiterate: it's limited to "Wikipedia"), I don't see any legal statute of limitation like FOP or TOO that could be applicable, and our commercial licensing requirements are also an impediment. This latter point would be also true on any Wikipedia, so for that some WP language edition can use such Great Circle Mapper media, they must have a non-free media rationale, otherwise the given authorisation is likely unusable and moot.
