Caption: Ryan McDonald (bottom) holds Juan Miranda in a headlock and delivers punches to the head in a Total Combat match at the Cocopah Casino in Somerton, Ariz., Saturday. The Total Combat mixed martial arts event featured 10 fights. The fighting styles of the competitors ranged from grappling to Muay Thai kickboxing. But also performed basic moves that are taught to Marines; round kicks, blood chokes, rear hand punches and arm bars.
