English: Sounds of Discovery Concert. Terry Riley 'In C', La Monte Young 'Death Chant' (1961). Performed at Royal Institute Galleries by Music Now Ensemble directed by Cornelius Cardew. It was part of a series of four Music Now concerts during May 1968. The first UK performance of 'In C' was 18 May 1968, directed by Christopher Hobbs, part of the Sounds of Discovery Concert. |
