Description
English: 1892 photograph of the gate at the Oregon State Penitentiary. Building was on State Street along the Mill Creek in east Salem, Oregon, and was constructed in the 1870s. First appeared in the First Biennial Report of the State Board of Charities and Corrections published in 1892. (Oregon State Archives OAE0009.)
