English: Painting of an unknown man by an unknown artist, presumed to be a copy of an unknown original, allegedly from 1610. Often mistaken for Johannes Kepler but more likely a complete forgery. If it is based on anything, it more likely derived from a portrait of Michael Maestlin.[1]
