| Description |
English: A proposed flag for New Jersey, designed by Andrew Jones, which came seventh in the 2016 contest held by NJ.com to try and create a new flag for the state. The red saltire is a homage to the flag of the island of Jersey, after which New Jersey is named. The shield and the buff background are both taken from the current state flag. |
