Summary
| Description |
With funding from the Recovery Act, workers at the West Valley Demonstration Project (WVDP) are installing a tank and vault drying system to evaporate the remaining liquids in the tanks and vaults, and maintain a low relative humidity to limit tank corrosion. With an operational design life of 30 years, this system will provide needed time for WVDP officials to make and implement long-term decisions about the decommissioning of the Waste Tank Farm. |
