Summary
| Description | Actual site of the South Fork Dam failure of 1889, which caused the Johnstown Flood. Two ends of the earth dam (with walkways and vista points on either end). The large notch in the middle (now covered by trees) is the section which gave way when the dam broke. U.S. Route 219 |
