English: Tuning display on Roberts Classic 928 R9928 radio, purchased circa the early to mid 2000s. The display has yellowed over the years.
Mainly of interest due to inclusion of station names, which were no longer as common in a model of this era. (IIRC most others seem to have ditched them by this point(?), likely because they became inaccurate over time.) At any rate, I definitely don't recall seeing any other radios with markings for "Atlantic 252" (which I think might have already ceased transmitting by the time this was actually purchased, somewhat proving the point). Also includes original Virgin Radio UK MW frequencies- apparently similarly defunct- alongside others. |
