Summary

Description
English: As their common name implies, sage thrashers are birds of the sage. They nest in sagebrush and feed on insects found in the sage steppe. When berries and other fruits are available nearby, however, they become glutinous. When Saskatoon serviceberries are available at Seedskadee NWR, the sage thrashers pile in for the feast.
