Afrikaans: Noordwaartse uitsig op die Asrivier-inloop van die Saulspoortdam te Bethlehem, Vrystaat. Die Liebenbergsvlei (buite sig) vorm die oostelike inloop. "As-" herinner hier aan 'n wa-as wat in 'n drif gebreek het. Uitheemse populiere, bloekoms, denne en wilgers begroei die oewer en hange.
English: Northward view of the Saulspoort Dam at its western or As River inflow, near Bethlehem, Free State. "As" in this context means "wagon axel". The Liebenbergsvlei (out of view) forms a separate inflow to the east. Exotic poplars, bluegums, pines and willows grow along the verges and slopes. |
