Deutsch: Südsüdostansicht des Tanklagers in der niederösterreichischen Stadtgemeinde St. Valentin und rechts der Oberwasserkanal des Ennskraftwerks St. Pantaleon.
Das Tanklager St. Valentin wird von der OMV betrieben und stellt die Versorgung Westösterreichs mit Otto- und Dieselkraftstoff sowie Heizöl sicher. Mit seinen 18 Tanks hat es eine Kapazität über 500.000 km³ː [1]. Das Tanklager ist mit dem Tanklager in der Lobau durch die 172 km lange und 1976 fertiggestellten ([2]) Produktenleitung West (PLW) verbundenː [3]. Das Ennskraftwerk St. Pantaleon wurde 1965 in Betrieb genommen. Es generiert rd. 230 Millionen KWh Strom aus Wasserkraft pro Jahrː [4]. Gespeist wird es durch einen 6,7 km langen Oberwasserkanal, der bei Thurnsdorf von der gestauten Enns abzweigt und eine maximale Förderleistung von 340 m³/Sekunde hatː [5].
