Taman Nasional Bali Barat terletak di bagian barat dari Pulau Bali.Taman Nasional ini berada di dua kabupaten yaitu Jembrana dan Buleleng,Sekitar 160 spesies hewan dan tumbuhan dilindungi berada di taman nasional ini, termasuk banteng, rusa, lutung, kalong dan aneka burung.

Kawasan ini juga merupakan habitat asli satwa endemik yang menjadi ikon Pulau Bali yaitu burung Jalak Bali.

terdiri dari beberapa tipe vegetasi, antara lain hutan mangrove, hutan pantai, hutan musim, hutan hujan dataran rendah, sabana, koral, padang lamun, pantai berpasir, perairan laut dangkal dan dalam. Bagian tengah kawasan ini didominasi oleh sisa-sisa empat gunung berapi.
