E. californica subsp. californica var. maritima (E. L. Greene) Jeps., which is found along the coast from Monterey south to San Miguel Island. Fiscalini Ranch, near the Bluff trail. Still a good showing at both ends of this trail. I think they get enough water from the fogs to keep blooming, and it's been an unusually foggy spring & summer, so far.
