English: This ruin traces back to the Roman era in North Africa , it was a Roman church then Bled El Hadhar mosque was built atop of it after the invasion of arabs and the ruins of this Roman Tower is the only thing left.. Moreover Tozeur’s history dates back to the 3rd millennium BC. The city was a successively Numidian, Christian during the Roman Empire and finally Arab Muslim.
The name of Tozeur in antiquity was Thusuros (Tusuros) it was an important Roman outpost.
Français : Cette ruine remonte à l'époque romaine en Afrique du Nord, c'était une église romane puis la mosquée Bled El Hadhar a été construite au sommet de celle-ci après l'invasion des Arabes et les ruines de cette tour romaine sont la seule chose qui reste .. De plus, l'histoire de Tozeur date retour au 3ème millénaire . La ville fut successivement numide, chrétienne sous l'Empire romain et enfin arabo-musulmane.
Le nom de Tozeur dans l'antiquité était Thusuros (Tusuros) c'était un avant-poste romain important.
