| Description |
English: A very intense Tucker Torpedo Replica at the 2018 Greenwich Concours d'Elegance. Handmade from scratch by Rob Ida Concepts (the fourth one they've built), this one carries a twin-turbo 550hp Cadillac Northstar V8. Based on the original drawings and a 3D-scan of a 1947 Tucker, the body is a mix of steel and carbon fiber parts. The fancy pre-selector gear knob now controls the modern automatic transmission while the original vent/heat sliders all the way to the left are now for the air suspension! I believe this one won the spectator's choice award. |
