(The Shire of Orbost extended to Cape Howe.) Green dots mark the administrative centres of the former LGAs. The black dot marks East Gippsland Shire's present-day administrative centre (Bairnsdale). The former LGA boundaries were digitised from the technical descriptions published in the Victorian Government Gazettes: 1967 page 1947 (Avon), 1967 page 1140 (City of Bairnsdale), 1967 page 1776 (Shire of Bairnsdale), 1973 page 3345 (Omeo), 1913 page 1397 (Orbost and Tambo), 1974 page 1904 (Rosedale). |
